School Site Council
SSC (School Site Council) oversees the school programs that include curricular and instructional practices of the school. SSC main function is to review and update the Annual School Plan including the proposed expenditure of funds allocated to the school through the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan).
Lynbrook High School's SSC membership includes the principal, an assistant principal, students, an ASB representative, parents, teachers and classified staff. The council has equal representation for each stakeholder group. Every year we hold elections for council membership. Each stakeholder group elects representatives for their stakeholder group.
The SSC annually reviews and approves the The Annual School Plan (available on our website on the WASC Accreditation page). The Annual School’s plan ensures that all student's needs are met. SSC also oversees the spending of specific funds provided through LCAP. LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) is written annually with the intention of ensuring continuous improvement and is aligned with FUHSD (Fremont Union High School District) mission, vision values, and goals.
SSC meets regularly on the third Tuesday of the month during the school year with the exception of August, December and February. An agenda and minutes for each meeting is posted in the main office with at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. All meetings are open to the public.
If you have any questions, please contact Principal Maria Jackson.
