Athletic Boosters is proud to recognize its Players of the Month for October. Several highly qualified candidates were submitted by their coaches and the following two were selected for October 2019.
AMY TSE, Field Hockey – “…a leader by example on the field but Amy has been the glue that’s held the teams together by spending hours and hours behind the scenes helping to coordinate trips and Jamba runs and even just getting the girls together to make a card or any other “little” thing that had a HUGE impact. Amy has been the most amazing assistant I could’ve ever asked for!”
VINCENT PENG, Cross Country – “…was the most consistent varsity boy runner and was all-league and is running in the CCS Championship meet.”
CONGRATULATIONS TO AMY TSE & VINCENT PENG!

Please join us for Financial Aid Night at Lynbrook. LHS staff will be available to assist you with questions regarding the FAFSA process. See you in the LHS Auditorium form 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM on October 2, 2019.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required by both public and private universities and colleges before scholarships or financial aid is awarded. For more information about the FAFSA and instructions, the website is www.fafsa.ed.gov. The filing priority date for most colleges is March 2. The earlier you file a FAFSA, the more likely you are to hear from the Commission early. Since most colleges have a May 1 deadline for intention to register, it is to your advantage to know as soon as possible about financial aid so that you can make an informed decision regarding which college you will attend. Students and families will fill the FAFSA out in the senior year of high school. Ultimately, all financial aid decisions are made by the individual college; therefore, it is necessary for you to work with the financial aid officer at each school to which you are applying. Also, be sure to apply on time!
