Please Join Us for the Fremont Union High School Foundation Spring Fling 2019 Fundraiser!

On Friday, March 29, the Fremont Union High School Foundation will host our primary fundraising event at the De Anza Campus Center. In the past, you may have known this event as the Crab Feed. In place of the Crab Feed, the Foundation will be hosting a “Spring Fling” with a “Celebrate the 80’s" theme honoring the start of the Foundation, and we need your participation and support! We hope you will attend this important event. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite or paper tickets are available at the FUHSD District office or your high school office.

About the FUHS Foundation - Did You Know?

  • The FUHS Foundation pays for many essential collaboration tools such as School Loop and Naviance;
  • The Foundation provides grants for our teachers to offer innovative programs and replace equipment that our schools do not have the budget for; and
  • The Foundation supports student activities such as Leadership, Athletics, Journalism, Choir, Drama, Robotics, and Art. Without the foundation funds, many of these activities would be greatly minimized or lost.

The Foundation’s existence is imperative for our school district to support our students to the highest level and remain one of the highest performing high school districts in California. It truly takes a village of connected parents, teachers, other professional educators, PTSA and our Foundation to educate the 11,000+ students at our five schools.

Congratulations to superstar Lynbrook teacher Charlotte Kruk!

Congratulations to superstar Lynbrook teacher Charlotte Kruk, who has been selected as one of just five recipients across Santa Clara County of the 2018 Texas Instruments Innovations in STEAM Award. Charlotte will be honored at the annual Santa Clara County Teacher Recognition Celebration on Oct. 22, 2018 at the Campbell Heritage Theatre.

Charlotte, who teaches 3D Design, shared, "From day one I strive to foster a mindset of growth. Students hear consistent messages that no matter what skills they entered with if they continually invest themselves, improvement is not only possible but probable. My ultimate goal in teaching is to create a space where students feel appreciated, respected and at peace no matter what their aptitude is with the media. I need everyone to feel safe taking a risk toward the outcome of self-betterment."
