New Athletics Website & App - Lynbrook Athletics has a brand new website. Check it out and bookmark it at https://www.lhsvikingathletics.com. Information is still being added, but it is up and running! You can also get all our Viking sports information at your fingertips by downloading the "Lynbrook Viking Athletics" app through the Apple Store.
STTAR Tutor Program - Students who would like to improve their grade in a particular subject may request a STTAR tutor. A STTAR tutor can assist with reviewing course material, organization, and give tips on improving study skills. Homework Center - Students may drop in to Homework Center after school in the Library and get started on assignments. Student tutors are available until 4:45 pm on Homework Center days. Textbooks are available for use in the Library. For more information, visit https://lhs.fuhsd.org/guidance-student-support/high-school-planning/academic-support. Homework Center will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, March 8 & 9, due to testing in the Library. Monday, March 13, there is no school. Homework Center will resume on Wednesday, March 15.

Speech and Debate - The Lynbrook Speech and Debate team recently participated in the highly competitive California/Berkeley Tournament. The tournament draws students from across the United States. Congratulations to the following Lynbrook Speech & Debate students for their notable accomplishments at the tournament:

NSDA Honor Society -The National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) Honor Society recognized the following Lynbrook Speech and Debate students for earning merit points through competition, service, and leadership activities. Whether they're debating in the classroom, volunteering, speaking at a rally, or acting on stage, students use what they learn in speech and debate every day. Merit points reward and encourage members to use their skills to improve their schools and communities. Congratulations to:

A Note from Principal Jackson
IMPORTANT: State testing is swiftly approaching. On March 14, 15, and 16, juniors will be taking the CAASPP/CAST. It is very important that all juniors arrive on time (8:30 AM) to their assigned classrooms. Testing locations will be posted in Schoology and on bulletin boards on campus. Our goal is to complete testing for 100% of our juniors. Exam results will indicate how well students are mastering skills needed for college level math and English courses. Details regarding testing can be accessed online in the letter from Superintendent Graham Clark.
While juniors are testing in the morning, 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students will attend a mandatory presentation. Each grade level is assigned a specific day and time to attend.
- 9th grades will report to the theater on Tuesday, March 14. at 10:10 AM.
- 12th graders will report to the theater on Wednesday, March 15 at 10:10 AM.
- 10th graders will report to the theater on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 9:10 AM.

FUHSD Board Celebrates Lynbrook: On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the FUHSD Board of Trustees and the FUHSD Leadership will be celebrating Lynbrook at 6:15 PM in the Board Room at the District Office located at 589 W.
