Student Submissions Wanted - Announcing the PTA Reflections Art Program 2022-2023! Unleash your creative talents, express yourself, experience the fun and joy of making art, and tap into your critical-thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme "SHOW YOUR VOICE!". The categories are Dance Choreography, Literature, Photography, Film Production, Music Composition, and Visual Arts. All submissions are due by Monday, October 3rd, by 11:59 pm. Valorant Fall Invitational – Lynbrook's esports team, the Asgardians, are hosting a Valorant Fall Invitational Tournament running October thru December. The invitational is open to all students. There will be two competitions based on skill level. Join as a singleton or as a team of five at the front of the ASB Den, room 005, Oct 3rd, 7th, 10th, or 14th during lunch. All players must be present at signup and the entrance fee is $10.00 per player.
Girls Soccer Conditioning - Girls soccer conditioning has begun and will continue Mondays and Thursdays through the end of October. If you are interested in participating, please contact girls JV coach Claus Strand (claus@strandonline.net) for more details. No prior soccer skills required.
STTAR Tutor Program - Student who are receiving a "B" grade or lower may request a STTAR Tutor. STTAR tutors are National Honor Society members or upperclassmen who excel in specific subjects. Homework Center - Students may drop into Homework Center in the Library after school and get started on assignments. Student tutors are available until 4:45pm on Homework Center days. Textbooks are available for use in the Library. Homework Center is open three days a week:
• Mondays 3:55-5:00 pm
• Wednesdays 3:15-5:00 pm
• Thursdays 3:55-5:00 pm
