Hello, Lynbrook Community,
I am writing to notify you that this week there have been (1) cases of COVID-19 on campus. We have been and remain in communication with the individuals who tested positive regarding the isolation protocol that they will be following. Please note that given the widespread nature of the Omicron variant, close contact can happen in and out of the school environment. We encourage everyone to be vigilant in monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19 and stay home if they do not feel well. Please consider vaccination and boosters if you have not already done so for yourself as well as eligible students. This is the best way to prevent community spread—and to protect yourself and your family from serious ramifications from the virus. FUHSD has testing available for asymptomatic students, staff and families at the following times:
Testing Schedule
Testing from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mondays: LHS, Original/Former main office
Tuesdays: HHS, Field House Lobby
Wednesdays: MVHS, Auditorium Lobby
Wednesdays: FHS, Fair Oaks room (main office)
Thursdays: CHS, Gym Foyer
Fridays: District Office campus, portables behind Educational Options (591 West Fremont Avenue) – MAP
Here is the FUHSD landing page for testing through Inspire Diagnostics https://inspirediagnostics.com/fremont-union-high-school-district/. When you go to the link it will ask you to choose your designation (staff, student, family), school level (you will choose "high"), and then your school site. You only have to preregister the first time and will be provided with a QR code. You can then use that code for any subsequent testing, at any site.
For information on District safety protocols, please visit the Return to School Information and COVID-19 Resources page on our district website. If you have any questions about this notice, please don't hesitate to contact me; the LHS COVID-19 Designee, Susan Rocha, (susan_rocha@fuhsd.org); or our District COVID-19 Designee, Associate Superintendent Trudy Gross (trudy_gross@fuhsd.org OR 408-522-2203).
