Note from the Principal, Mrs. Jackson
Hello, Lynbrook!
On Thursday and Friday of next week teachers return to campus to prepare their rooms for hybrid instruction. For some, Friday, March 13, 2020 was the last time they taught in their classrooms. There are new teachers who will enter their classroom for the first time this school year. Next week, freshmen who signed up for orientation, will take their first tour of Lynbrook. It is an exciting week!
Here is the schedule for next week, April 5-9, 2021
We are in the process of finalizing the commitment information we have received. Students are being placed in on-campus learning groups:
Students who chose to remain in remote learning will not come to campus.
On Friday, April 9, 2021, returning students will receive their class schedule with updated room numbers with their assigned learning group. At this time, students may not switch learning groups (A, B, C) and remote students cannot request to attend school on campus.
IMPORTANT: Students who are returning to in-person learning and will bring their own computer or device, will need to get logged onto to the LHS network. This can be done on campus ONLY. We want to help students log onto the school network BEFORE we return on April 19, 2021. Students will go to the back of the library on Thursday, April 8th from 2-4pm, or Friday, April 9th from 12-2:00pm for assistance. Bring your device with you and drive around to the back of the library. Call the number on the door and someone will come out to help you sign on. If someone is there in front of you, please wait your turn in your car or 6 feet away and we'll get to you as soon as we can.
Before Friday, April 9, 2021, students will be sent a link to the Lynbrook High School Guide to Reopening. Students should review this guide carefully. Parents and guardians need to review it as well.
Easter is this weekend. For those of you who celebrate, have a safe and happy time.
