Winter Rally 2023: Pixar

A sea of smiling faces and invigorating drum beats filled the gym as students filed in for Winter Rally, marking the culmination of the Pixar spirit week.
Dressed in their class colors, classes crowded the bleachers under the banners of their respective movie themes: “Ratatouille” for freshmen, “Cars” for sophomores, “Inside Out” for juniors and “The Incredibles” for seniors.
Lynbrook cheer kicked off the rally with an energetic dance routine, followed by performances from girls basketball, boys soccer, wrestling, girls soccer, Ravens, Viking Vocalists, boys basketball and Valkyries. Each class also had a dance of its own under a chorus of enthusiastic chants and the deafening claps of thundersticks.
The Class of 2023 was declared as the winner of Coin Wars, meaning all of the money raised will be donated to The Trevor Project. The rally was capped off by Lynbrook Idol winner Adithri Sharma’s rendition of the alma mater.
