On this day in 1999, the space shuttle Discovery became the first space shuttle to dock with the International Space Station (ISS). A major task of the shuttle Discovery’s crew was to transfer more than 1.5 tons of equipment to the inside of ISS. Additionally, shuttle astronauts undertook a spacewalk for 7 hours and 55 minutes to attach two cranes to the station and put out foot restraints for future astronauts to secure themselves during spacewalks.

End-of-Year Voter Registration Drive – Seniors, the College and Career Center is hosting a voter registration drive for one last time before graduation at Lunch on Friday, May 29th in the Quad. Registering to vote online through the upcoming voter drive can save you a lot of time and energy in the voter registration process, so come on over to the quad on Friday to get it done before graduation.
Additionally, all non-seniors who are above the age of 16 are eligible to pre-register to vote. Upon turning 18, students who pre-register will automatically be eligible to vote. We look forward to seeing all those who can register or pre-register in the Quad on May 29!
