On September 16, 1947, the United States Air Force was formed as a separate branch of the U.S. Armed Forces with the passing of the National Security Act of 1947. It is the youngest branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, and the fourth in order of precedence. The United States Air Force is the largest and most technologically advanced air force in the world.

AP Testing: AP exams are totally optional and are typically taken at the end of an AP course. The deadline for registration is October 2, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. This registration window is mandated by the College Board for all AP programs, and is not the decision of FUHSD. There will be no late registration. The exam fee is $115 for regular format exams and $125 for special format (World Language, Music Theory, Studio Art) exams. Book Pick up/ Exchange: If you have a general book to exchange or pick-up you can do so on the following days:
- Tuesday 11am-2pm
- Wednesday 10am-2pm
- Friday 11am-2pm
During these times, drive through the staff parking lot and to the back of the library. Upon arrival, call the library phone number 408-366-7731 and state your student ID number, what you need to pick up or exchange--be sure to include the teacher's name and the course. Wait in your car until your materials are brought out. Exit the car, wearing a mask, and pick up your materials. Please do not call the phone number until you have arrived at the back of the library.
