At the Lynbrook Library and
Information Learning Center, students will find all they need to be successful researchers. Traditional printed materials merge with cutting edge technology to provide current, accurate, and
reliable sources for students and staff.
This web site is designed to direct students to
Internet resources and to teach them how to use those resources responsibly.
The school employs a full time library specialist and a full time
library technology teacher-librarian. There are
36 desktop computers available to students. There are laptop labs that are used when classes
come to the library. This makes it possible for two classes to use the
library at the same time.
The library's catalog is automated and there are approximately
22,000 titles. Students can access it from the library's homepage.
There are other computers on campus available for student use during tutorial time. There are
70 workstations located in the computer labs 005 and 006. These labs are
open for drop-in use during tutorial on Mondays and Thursdays.
The labs are utilized by classes during the school day.
